Τι είναι η τεχνική Amigurumi
Αmigurumi ονομάζεται το είδος πλεκτού με βελονάκι ή βελόνες που χρησιμεύει για την κατασκευή παιδικών κυρίως παιχνιδιών που αναπαριστούν κούκλες, ζώα ή φανταστικά πλάσματα, είναι 3D και παραγεμισμένα με διαφόρων ειδών υλικά (δημοφιλέστερα το βαμβάκι και ο πολυεστέρας), τα οποία υλικά βοηθούν να κρατούν το σωστό τους σχήμα.
Προέρχεται από την Ιαπωνία και είναι παράγωγο των λέξεων ami που σημαίνει πλεκτό και nuigurumi που σημαίνει γεμισμένη κούκλα. Πολύ συχνά στολίζονται και με άλλα υλικά εκτός από το νήμα, όπως είναι κορδέλες, υφάσματα, κουμπιά κ.ά. και σε πολλές περιπτώσεις τα πρόσωπα ακόμα και μακιγιάρονται.
